The seminar witnessed the presence of around 250 participants including senior doctors, faculty, admin officers, executives, nurses, staff, medical students, and others from the medical fraternity.

PEACE Program, which is the Corporate Workshop Wing of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), organized the seminar with a motive to ‘heal the healers’. Doctors remain at the forefront of treating and healing the ailing patients. With such a highly demanding job, they need complete focus amid an environment that constantly brims with miseries and sufferings. Still, they have to thrive with a positive smile on their face, no matter what disturbs them inside.

Comprehending such an alarming scenario, PEACE designed a much-needed seminar for them that was enriched with spiritually nourishing elements. It was oriented towards helping doctors with practical means of coping with their mental health.

Packed with intriguing and highly-involving interactions, the seminar witnessed a lot of activities, demonstrations, scientific experimentations, and ice-breakers.

Sadhvi Tapeshwari Bharti Ji, the Principal Coordinator of PEACE Program, headed a motivational session on ‘Meditation for Mental Health’ that was coupled with interactive elements.

She decoded two types of models i.e., human model and spiritual model. Through the human model, she demonstrated that general human psychology is guided only by sense organs and its pleasures. On the contrary, through the spiritual model, psychology is guided by the higher wisdom of soul consciousness.

On the whole, she gave an experimental analysis of different psychologies. The first psychology is the reason behind mental health problems, while the second is the solution to it.

She also spoke deeply about the Eternal Science of BrahmGyan's Meditation which is universally highlighted by different faiths and cultures across the world.

Sadhvi Dr. Nidhi Bharti Ji, Co-principal Coordinator of PEACE Program, also conducted a session on the ‘Psychological and Vital Solutions for Mental Health’.

Talking about the form of mind, she said, “It is not a physical entity and we cannot see it with our gross eyes. However, we always feel and experience it. We remain under its power because it is very powerful. The problem is that this mind is affected by so many viruses that today our mental setup has become a mix of white and black balls, which means good and bad.”

Going further, she threw light on the ways to get rid of the viruses that attack our mind. She explained it through different practical examples, demonstrations, and experiments.

“Expression or suppression is not the way to get rid of these vices. The only way to control them is through breathing techniques and spirituality or meditation”, added Sadhvi Ji.

All in all, the participants were seen attending the sessions with full vigour and concentration. They were inspired with wonderful life lessons to develop themselves at three levels, Body, Mind, and Soul, so as to cultivate Inner Happiness.

At the end, Dr. Praveen Vashist, Professor & Head, Community Ophthalmology, Dr. R.P. Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi, appreciated the eye check-up camps regularly organized by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan. He said, “These camps witness a huge number of beneficiaries. I was already impressed with their social welfare work. But, today for the first time, I am mesmerized with their spiritual concept and philosophy. I definitely look forward to joining them and adopting their spiritual science of meditation.”

Dr. Rajpal Vohra, Professor of Ophthalmology, Dr. R.P. Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi, also said, “The concept of meditation introduced by PEACE must be followed by everyone. We see a lot of suicide cases happening nowadays, and especially medical students are committing suicide due to increasing stress. Thus, these students must adopt the path of meditation. I will also go forward for it, and I recommend everyone to join their course of meditation science.”
