Sanskarshala is one of its kind monthly workshops that are organized for children aged 4 to 12 years by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan’s (DJJS) holistic education program- Manthan Sampoorna Vikas Kendra (SVK). The theme for August month’s Sanskarshala was Samajik Sanskarshala. DJJS Manthan SVK is not only shaping young minds through academic, co-curricular activities but also playing a key role in developing responsible individuals. Through carefully curated themes, DJJS Manthan SVK has been etching students in multiple directions with a sense of responsibilities – towards themselves, peers, family and society. When children learn to fulfill these responsibilities, they attain a holistic development, which not only prepares them for professional success but also for becoming conscientious citizens.

Samajik Sanskarshala workshops were initiated with group chanting and meditation by DJJS Preachers and DJJS Manthan SVK volunteers which created a divine ambience for children attending the sessions. Children were made aware that as individuals they are accountable for fulfilling their civic responsibilities and the actions of an individual must benefit the whole of society. These sessions began with simple yet mind-grabbing creative activities wherein children had to identify the basic behavior depicted by the various social activities that children normally encounter in their day-to-day lives. Followed by a video presentation on how to morally carry social actions through building positive relationships, managing conflicts and a skit on respecting others, valuing diversity, contributing to the community and caring for the environment. Children thoroughly enjoyed the fun activities along with learning creative craft sessions as well. With workshops like these children are made aware that they can make a huge impact on the society they live in and become morally responsible to build safer and better communities. On that note, the workshops concluded with the chanting of shanti mantra and prayers. Everyone paid their humble salutations unto the lotus feet of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji.
