Be it conducting moral sessions, practicing ved mantras or celebrating festivals, Manthan-Sampoorn Vikas Kendras (SVKs) always strive to connect Manthanites to India's rich culture and tradition. This endeavour brought a 12-day Sanskrit speaking course to Manthanites at Shakurpur SVK from December 23, 2014 to January 3, 2015. Underscoring the significance of Sanskrit, an ancient language of India, the classes were conducted by Sanskrit students of Maharsi Valmiki College of Education, Delhi University, as a part of their community work.
The classes were based on Shishtachar sambandhi Sanskrit gyan (Day 1), Samanya parichay (Day 2), Vastu gyan (Day 3), Angwachi Sanskrit shabd gyan (Day 4), Vanaspati sambandhi Sanskrit gyan (Day 5), Parivarik sambandhi Sanskrit gyan (Day 6), Bhartiya parampara gyan (Day 7), Sanskrit samay gyan (Day 8), Shubhkamna sambandhi Sanskrit gyan (Day 9) and Laghu Sanskrit vakya gyan (Day 10).
All the classes were enthusiastically attended by Manthanites and the teachings were well received by them.
