Sadhvi Padamhasta Bharti Ji was the orator of the Katha. She started by mentioning the reasons why lord incarnates on earth. Shrimad Bhagwat answers all the divine questions and informs us about all the avatars of Lord Vishnu. They all bravely save the planet again and again from evil and wrong doings of corrupt mind. Whenever corruption and violence on earth gets unbearable, she takes form of a cow and asks God to come on earth and swipe it clean from evil. First incarnation took place with a desire to commence creations. Rests were to protect Vedas and lives of sages.

Sadhvi Ji beautifully illustrated the story of samundra manthan when lord Vishnu appears as Kurm, Dhanwantari and Mohini. The deities and the demons churned the ocean to achieve holy nectar of eternal. Lord Vishnu as Dhanvantari manifested from the ocean holding a vessel filled with ambrosia. Before that, lots of poison came out which was consumed by Lord Shiva to save the planet, he took Ram’s name while drinking it and hold it in his scruff. He got his name Neelkanth from that. It teaches us that life can taste bitter but name of God can make it better. This story makes us think that we need to analyze our positive and negative thoughts and always with the help of God, choose positive thoughts to win in life.

Lord Narsimha came to prove love towards his devotee Prahlad that he can do anything and take any form to keep the respect for the words of devotee. Lord Rama came on earth to demonstrate how one can, under all circumstances, follow religion. He ended all the monsters from the face of earth including Ravana and at the same time showed how to maintain relationships. In Dwapar yug, Lord Vishnu with all his glory incarnated as Krishna. Wonderful celebration of birth of Krishna happened where all attendees danced to the tunes of bhajans. In Gokul, he did divine plays to shower his love on his disciples. He used to steal not only butter but the hearts of every villager. But one day, he left gokul to meet his destiny of killing the evil Kans and reclaiming his throne. He enunciated Bhagwad Geeta to Arjuna in battle field of Kurukshetra and revealed the true essence of dharma. He said, “Only after seeing atman through your divine eye, your true journey to salvation begins. Only perfect complete master can clear your doubts and can give you divine eye to realize yourself and know God. Only after realizing God you can solve the problems of life, they could be related to inner mind or outside world.”

It is believed that God always resides on earth in the form of Satguru. Our duty is to find one and follow his word so our lives can be successful too. God in all his divine plays inform the importance of having Guru. The event ended in nine days with lots of enthusiasm and knowledge of devotion.
