Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) – a non-government, non-profit and a leading socio-spiritual organization, head and founded by His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, organized a seven days event of Shrimad Bhagwat Katha from 4th - 10th May 2017 on the land of Bhatinda, Punjab. In the presence of thousands of devotees, devoted disciple of revered Gurudev Sadhvi Vaishnavi Bharti Ji took charge as the spiritual discourser of the event.
Sri Aurobindo once said, “At present, mankind is undergoing an evolutionary crisis in which is concealed a choice of its destiny, for a stage has been reached in which the human mind has achieved in certain directions an enormous development, while in others it stands arrested and bewildered and can no longer find its way. And such evolution of mind can no longer be supported by human capacity without an “inner change”.
Today, we are not aware that by bringing a change in ourselves, we can certainly trigger a change in the entire physical world, thus lay the foundation for the evolution of a new and better world. One can bring such a change only by experiencing the fact that we all are interconnected on a much deeper level through the practical experience of Brahm Gyan (the Divine Knowledge bestowed by the Perfect Master of the time).
The event of Shrimad Bhagwat Katha successfully served the purpose by directing the audience towards the inner-change. This was the divine change that Lord Krishna manifested in the inner world of Arjuna and inspired him to walk on the path of righteousness. The Katha orator Sadhvi Vaishnavi Bharti Ji claims with confidence that Lord showed him the light which was his need to move further towards his goal. Lord Krishna made him aware of his true goal of life and even walked with him till the end to make him the winner.
It is such a magnificent journey when one is bestowed with the divine grace of a Pooran Satguru (Perfect Master) in his life who not only shows us the positivity but also imbibes that positivity in our heart and soul.
The seven days of Katha disclosed many beautiful aspects from the divine life of Lord Krishna carrying the profound blessings and learning for the mankind. The devotional songs provided much needed enlightenment to the audience and helped to kindle spirituality in them.
