‘Maa Durga’- the word ‘Durga’ comes from ‘Durgatinashini,’ which means ‘the one who eliminates sufferings.’ Goddess Durga protects her devotees from the evils of the world. The process of harnessing our inner energies is referred to as ‘Shakti Jagran’, which allows one to get connected to the supreme divine consciousness at the soul level, which then transfers the unlimited power, positivity, peace, prosperity to the human. This process is symbolized by the Jagrans and Chowkis that are organized to worship Goddess Durga.
In order to make people understand the precious value of human life and to make them aware of the supreme purpose behind it, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) - a non-government, non-profit and a leading spiritual organization, head and founded by HIS Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, organized the program of Maa Bhagwati Jagran at the land of Dhilwan, Punjab on January 14th, 2016.
The program started with the prayer at the lotus feet of revered Gurudev. Series of devotional and spiritual bhajans (songs) mesmerized the audience with their divine and inspirational lyrics and rhythms. Spiritual orator of the day was the preacher disciple of revered Gurudev- Sadhvi Mangalawati Bharti Ji who beautifully unfolded the secrets of spirituality richness that used to exist, once in our own country.
She emphasized that like the supra-mental consciousness or the power of goddesses, the supreme potential and the spiritual divinity are present within every human being and can only be experienced after getting initiated into the Divine Knowledge by the perfect spiritual master of the time. It has been a fact in every era and in today’s time also, Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji is awakening people with the divine knowledge in the form of ‘Brahm Gyan’
Amidst the presence of large number of devotees, program reached to the heights of supreme spiritual level where people could experience the divine aura. People experienced the need of ‘Jagran’, which can surely raise them from being soul-ignorant to soul-awakened state so that they can experience the hidden treasure of supreme peace within them.
