A series of plantation and sapling distribution drives were organized from June- Oct 2019 in which the eminent personalities from in and around the area participated to mark their green contribution towards greening the earth.

DJJS Nurmahal has been undertaking such tree plantation drives since last two years. The idea is to ingrain the idea of tree plantation as the most potent way of nature conservation in the minds of the local communities. The branch is committed to restore the city's lost green cover, for which it will continue to set up and achieve new tree plantation targets every year, as it has always been doing for the past few years.
