Continuing its efforts to expand access to healthcare services for underserved populations, DJJS Aarogya organized 1,787 preventive, promotive and holistic healthcare events over the last four months (May–August 2026). During this reporting period, 60,364 individuals across urban and rural communities benefited from various health camps, OPDs, awareness campaigns, Vilakshan Yog Shivir, Dhyaan Shivir, and strategic healthcare partnerships.
The events spanned 16 states across India and also extended their reach to international communities in Australia and the USA. A total of 120 DJJS branches actively contributed to bringing these initiatives to life, taking essential healthcare interventions to the grassroots level.
The impact of these initiatives continued to grow, with each program contributing towards greater health awareness, early intervention, and access to care.

Health Camps: Enabling Early Intervention
Eight Health Camps, comprising three Ayurveda camps, two Eye Care camps and Cataract Screening Camps, two General Health Check-up Camp, and one Physiotherapy Camp, enabled 931 visitors to receive early health screening, diagnosis and timely medical guidance.

OPDs: Building Continuity in Healthcare
OPD services are key to ensuring continuous access to healthcare and building trusted medical support within local communities. During the Four-month period, Aarogya conducted 1078 OPD sessions across its centres in Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Bihar.
These OPDs offered consultations and care across multiple disciplines, including Ayurveda, Dental, ENT, Panchakarma, Homeopathy, Physiotherapy, Orthopaedics, and Acupressure.
Through these OPD services, 14,302 beneficiaries received essential healthcare consultations and support.
Partnerships & Collaborative Healthcare Initiatives
Aarogya’s partnerships and collaborative initiatives play a key role in expanding access to quality and specialized healthcare services. To further this objective, Aarogya collaborated with reputed institutions, including A & U Tibbia College & Hospital, Delhi; PGIDS, Rohtak, for dental and skin healthcare; and AIIMS, Delhi, for primary eye care services.
Through these collaborations, 2,723 people benefited from specialized healthcare services across 32 camps. Nineteen Primary Eye Care Camps, conducted in collaboration with AIIMS, Delhi, provided ophthalmologist and optometrist services to 1,906 people. 352 people received expert dental and skin consultations through 10 camps organized in partnership with PGIDS, Rohtak. In addition, A & U Tibbia College & Hospital, Delhi partnered with Aarogya for three camps at the Divya Dham Centre, DJJS, where 465 people availed themselves of Ayurvedic healthcare services.
These institutional collaborations strengthened access to specialized healthcare services while ensuring quality consultations, expert guidance, and appropriate referral support for patients.
Preventive Healthcare: Creating Awareness Before Illness
Preventive healthcare remains a strong pillar of Aarogya’s approach to holistic health. During the reporting period, Aarogya strengthened its preventive healthcare efforts by organizing sixteen General Health Awareness Sessions and Health & Hygiene Campaigns focused on physical well-being, along with twenty-two Manobalam campaigns addressing mental well-being.
Together, these initiatives carried the message of “Prevention is Better Than Cure” to 4,364 attendees, encouraging individuals and communities to take proactive steps towards safeguarding their health.
Mental Well-being: Strengthening Inner Resilience
Mental well-being is a core dimension of DJJS’s holistic approach to health. Alongside Manobalam workshops, Aarogya organized 440 Dhyaan Shivir programs, in which 21,968 attendees participated in group meditation and learned practices related to stress management and mindfulness.
These sessions encouraged emotional well-being, inner peace, mental resilience, and a more balanced lifestyle.
Vilakshan Yog Shivir: Yoga Beyond a Day
The quarter also coincided with the celebrations of International Day of Yoga 2026. However, for DJJS Aarogya, yoga is not limited to a single day—it is a practice promoted throughout all 365 days of the year.
During the period from May to August, Aarogya organized 191 Vilakshan Yog Shivir programs across the country, with 16,076 enthusiastic participants coming together to experience the physical and mental harmony fostered through the practice of yoga.
Building a Healthier Society
These health programs received an encouraging response from local communities, strengthening the foundation for accessible and affordable healthcare while empowering individuals to take an active role in safeguarding their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
The remarkable outreach achieved over these four months reflects DJJS Aarogya’s commitment to creating a resilient and holistic healthcare ecosystem—one where healthcare support is accessible, timely, and within reach of every individual.
Aarogya’s efforts go beyond individual health interventions. They represent a holistic system of healing and preventive care that has reached thousands and continues to contribute towards transforming India’s healthcare landscape since 2003.
