For persons with disabilities “Antardrishti” program of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, registers symmetry in the social, economic and spiritual aspects of their life. This initiative has not only provided them the productive employment opportunities but also trained them to lead a self-dependent life without depending much on others or supplementary supports. Apart from this, they are also proving their talents in the fields of dance, music, art, vedic chanting, katha srijan etc. With this, the physically challenged and disabled under Antardrishti program participated in National Level Music and Dance Competition by “Social Justice and Empowerment Ministry Department” that took place on 15-16 Jan 2014 in “Siri Fort Auditorium, South Delhi”. In this event, the blind people won the first prize in solo music and group music. That moment caught the fancy of the viewer’s when Antardrishti brothers gave their performance with extreme enthusiasm and confidence. The audience highly applauded the enthusiastic performance given by the brothers. The award distribution ceremony took place by the hands of “Kumar Seilja, Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment” and she was also highly impressed by the initiative taken by DJJS for these physically and mentally disabled people.

Our Antardrishti brothers and sisters of DJJS became the role model for the other disabled people who participated from different parts of the country. At the end of the program other NGOs who participated in the program showed their interest towards the initiative taken by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan.
