Measure the progress of a community by the degree of freedom which women have achieved!
Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) is a socio-spiritual organization engaged in the empowerment of women, society and world at large. Antarkranti is the inmates’ improvement and rehabilitation program of DJJS under which thousands of jail inmates across India are getting enlightened about human values, role of human beings in society and above all why human life is precious. Since woman is a central figure of every family, contribution of women in making a constructive society can’t be ignored.
In the series of events, Antarkranti conducted 3 days counseling and motivational sessions at Women Prisons, Central Jail No. 6, Tihar, Delhi from 27th to 29th June 2016. The session was carried out by Sadhvi Satyaprabha Bharti Ji, Sadhvi Sudha Bharti Ji and Sadhvi Suman Bharti Ji, preacher disciple of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (founder and convener of DJJS). Around 400 women participated in the event.
The attendees brimmed with positivity, pure thoughts and confidence. These three days provided an opportunity to get exposed to an aura of divinity and eternity unlike the negative environment which persists inside the four walls of prisons all the time. The platform helped the inmates to ponder over their actions and mindset. During the counseling sessions, the queries of the prisoners were taken up by the counselors of DJJS and were best possibly resolved. The discussion was made very subtle.
Many inmates got interested to enroll themselves into learning the technique of meditation. The program concluded with the Aarti and prayers were performed at the lotus feet of the almighty followed by initiation of 30 interested inmates into the technique of ‘Brahm Gyan’ (eternal technique of meditation). These inmates have taken the first step towards self-progress and the society. DJJS is very sure that women are the harbinger of good luck and fortune in the society and these kinds of programs will act as the catalyst in this mission.
