In the premises of Shri Ram Saraswati Vidya Mandir located at Delhi Road, Meerut, U.P, Bodh under the banner of ‘Nirnay’ - a drive for drug free Uttar Pradesh, organized a one day workshop with the students in order to sensitize them regarding the issue of drug abuse.
Another objective of the workshop was to capacitate the students with the knowledge on how due to mere experimentation with gateway drugs like cigarette, chewing tobacco and beer, one can be trapped into the web of drug addiction, if not resisted on time. Sadhvi Lokesha Bharti Ji, disciple of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, and also an expert on the subject of the workshop demonstrates how the failure of not being able to identify the bad in life, can make you land into the territory of troubles and worries. She through various activities and educative games helped the students in comprehending the import of awareness session which lasted for almost 2 hours. Almost 200 students and 20 teachers and the school authority were also given some easily applicable but meaningful tips on how to make studies inclusive of the messages so as to discourage the students regarding the use of drug abuse in life.
Students were not only motivated to live a drug free life but also to be able to contribute for making the environment drug free and conductive for growth and development of every individual.
Sadhvi Divya Yoga Bharti Ji, representative DJJS and Sadhvi Ambika Bharti Ji representative DJJS also graced the event with their presence and later on spoke to the students individually to solve the problems that they face in their daily life. She also discussed on how to say no to the propositions demanding experimentation with drugs.
Students appreciated the program and showed their keen interest specifically in the activities and educative games played and situations enacted to demonstrate the various concepts.
