A beautiful Mata Ki Chowki at Vikaspuri (New Delhi) with DJJS representatives Sadhvi Shweta Bharti Ji and Sadhvi Aastha Bharti Ji of DJJS as the orators, was organized by Shri Ram Leela Trust on 21 October, 2018. The program witnessed the presence of devotees from various backgrounds who were drenched in the nectar of spiritual bliss following melodious devotional songs and enlightening discourses on ways to achieve inner peace.
Sadhvi Ji said that Mata Ki Chowki is organized time and again to reinforce the notion that ultimately it is possible to absorb all the positive traits of Devi Maa in our lives but only if we are willing enough. Devi Maa came into form when no other entity in the entire universe could stop the demon Mahishasura from causing destruction for his own greed. Endowed with all the powers of the gods, Devi Maa had every weapon at her disposal. But what differentiated her from other deities was her ability to nurture life even in the most turbulent of times. Her killing of the demon should not be seen as an act of destruction but rather transformation of destructive energy into the constructive one. Her anger is focused and not directed at everything that comes in her path. Her actions have conscience, asserted Sadhvi Ji, and this is the quality that we humans can also achieve if we strive for it.
From ancient times, India has been the land of knowledge that uplifts humans and lead them to have a more serene life. This knowledge is known as the eternal one, Brahm Gyan. Brahm Gyan unleashes the pious inner voice which directs a human being to undertake only those actions which benefit not just one’s life but everything else as well. The knowledge, however, can only be attained through the grace of an enlightened spiritual teacher (Guru) who not only has witnessed the universal conscience within but is completely capable of making a seeker realize it too. The necessity of this knowledge has always been the need of any era but today it is needed more than ever, for distractions are abound. It then becomes essential to imbibe the defining trait of Maa, i.e., transformation and not annihilation. To do so, said Sadhvi Ji, we all need to first find a true Guru who is able to bestow us with Brahm Gyan. In this regard, informed Sadhvi Ji, anyone can start one’s spiritual journey with His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, for he is one of the true spiritual teachers of the present era.
