Brahm Gyan is the Source of Inner Wisdom: Shrimad Bhagwat Katha at Sambalpur, Odisha

Sadhvi Aastha Bharti Ji, with her learned disposition, pointed out the existence of flawed understanding of Lord Krishna among today’s youth. Sadhvi Ji said that it is mistakenly believed that Lord Krishna held the philosophy of living in the moment without much caring for the consequences. She stated that people often question the moral principles of Lord Krishna. However, she asserted that Lord Krishna was an enlightened being and his every action was directed by the inner source of wisdom. Lord Krishna, posited Sadhvi Ji, attained enlightenment from his spiritual teacher Sage Sandipani. Enlightenment is the process through which an individual experiences the divinity within. It is hailed by the ancient Indian Seers as Brahm Gyan.

It was the technique of Brahm Gyan, said Sadhvi Ji, which Lord Krishna imparted to Gopis and Gopikas of Vrindavan, his friend Sudama, and his wife Rukmini. It was this inner knowledge given to Draupadi by Lord Krishna that helped her save herself from embarrassment at the royal court. It was with this knowledge that Arjuna who had lost his confidence at Kurukshetra battlefield, regained his faith, and could win the war. Hence, Sadhvi Ji said that Lord Krishna was not a profligate. Rather, he was a person having perfect understanding of Dharma (righteousness).  Throughout his life, he enriched the lives of the people by imparting Brahm Gyan with his benign grace.

Sadhvi Ji said that like the people enlightened by Lord Krishna, we too can lead a life with inner wisdom as our guide. However, in order to attain Brahm Gyan it is imperative that we first seek an enlightened spiritual teacher (Guru); a teacher who can enlighten us too. In this regard, Sadhvi Ji, while concluding the Katha, said that the doors of DJJS will always remain open for true spiritual seekers.
