Reinstating India's rich cultural and spiritual heritage, ‘Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan’ organised a grandcelebration of ‘Bhartiya Nav Varsh, Vikram Samvat 2082’ (Indian New Year) at Divya Dham Ashram, Delhi on 30th March 2025. ‘Vikram Samvat’ marks the beginning of a New Year according to the traditional Hindu lunar calendar. DJJS commemorated this pious occasion by bringing together hundreds of devotees and spiritual seekers in a day of ritualistic prayers, spiritual discourses, devotional singing, and stage presentations, all aimed at fostering peace, devotion and self growth. The purpose was to create an environment of spiritual awakening, where devotees could immerse themselves in the teachings of ‘Brahm Gyan’ (Divine Knowledge), reflect on their life’s purpose, and set meaningful resolutions for the new year.

The program began with ‘Rudri Path’ by Brahm Gyani Ved Pathis. Devotional bhajans created an uplifting atmosphere that allowed the participants to immerse themselves in the pious vibrations and connect with theinner divinity.

DJJS representatives and disciples of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Founder & Head, DJJS)highlighted the spiritual context behind ‘Vikram Samvat’. The celebration of Vikram Samvat holds profound meaning, transcending mere calendar observance. The objectives behind celebrating this day go beyond festive enjoyment to include deep spiritual reflection and community bonding.

DJJS representative elucidated that celebration of Indian New Year is an invitation to align oneself with the divine rhythm of the universe. It reminds individuals that every moment offers an opportunity to reset and move closer to one's true nature and higher purpose. The preacher emphasised that ‘Brahm Gyan’ is the key to unlocking the highest truth of human existence. Through this divine knowledge, one transcends ego, illusion, and attachment, realising the oneness of the Self with the Supreme Consciousness. 

DJJS representative concluded that ‘Vikram Samvat’ is considered an ideal time to reflect on one's life, purify the heart, and renew the commitment to spiritual growth. DJJS orator reiterated that as the new year begins, devotees should engage in self-reflection, meditation, and devotion.

This significant occasion included profound spiritual discourses, melodious bhajans, and a Mime performance based on cultural values. A special session was also held, highlighting the remarkable moments of the record-setting Rudri chanting by Divya Jyoti Ved Mandir at the Maha Kumbh. This session demonstrated how Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji is reinstating Indian culture in society.

The event was graced by the presence of many distinguished guests. They highly praised the efforts of DJJS under the guidance of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji for the preservation and promotion of Indian culture.

The ‘Bhartiya Nav Varsh’ celebration culminated with a grand community feast.

Remaining steadfast and committed to the teachings of Guru Maharaj Ji, the attendees left the Ashram with renewed hope and a deeper connection to the Divine.
