Antarkranti initiative of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) was invited by the Jail Authority to Meerut, Jilla Karagar on 26th of Jan, 2015 on the occasion of Republic Day. The program was held with the exuberance spirits of 300 females, 2500 males and 50 juveniles’ inmates as attendees. The objective was to build positive attitude amongst inmates and adopting such behavior that is in the Country’s national interest.
Republic Day was celebrated with great fervor! In the sparkling ambience, a soul stirring act was performed by the Young volunteers and the prisoners were carried into the inspirational and motivational life of Swami Vivekananda. It enabled them to introspect and make a positive initiative towards character building. The enlightened lecture delivered by Sadhvi Lokesha Bharti Ji facilitated inmates to awaken their dormant positive traits and channelizing the energy.
“Be the change, and then change the rest”!
A set forth path of self awakening to global peace was a seeding inspiration in the minds of the inmates.
The literature of the organization - ‘Akhand Gyan’ - the Monthly Magazine was shared with the other invited guests and Sh. Rajesh Harry from ‘Harry Musical Band’ was so influenced and inspired with the cause that he wished to support through promoting the literature at all his musical platform.
Events like these have shown a silver- lining in the cloud of dejection and darkness in the lives of prisoners
