Manthan-SVK organizes educational tours from time to time for enhancement of knowledge and overall development of children. Recently, Manthan-SVK organized an educational tour to 28th World book fair organized at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi for the students of Mangolpuri, Rithala and Shakurpur centres on 12th January 2020.
Each year, in this Asia's largest book fair, various activities for children are organized in the children’s pavilion “Baal Mandap”, wherein children from various government and non-government schools and organizations participates with full enthusiasm. This year too, several literary and cultural programs were organized for the students in which students of Manthan-SVK also participated and presented recital and lectures on “Subhashitani” Vandana depicting the cultural advancement during Vedic India and the propagation of Sanskrit language. The performance of the students was highly appreciated by the students, teachers and authors as well. Renowned authors of children’s literature shared inspiring stories with the children and make then learn the art of story telling.
Therefater, students visited the book stalls and various exhibitions Children expressed their curiosity and asked queries regarding the books of their interest.
The motto of this educational trip was to rekindle the lost interest in children towards book reading as books are not only our guide, friend and companion for solitude but they also develop literary skills in children.
