Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan working under the mentorship of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji is a socio-spiritual, non-profit organization. One it`s social initiatives, Manthan-SVK an initiative which is solely and whole-heartedly working for the upliftment of the Underprivileged children of the society organized health check -up camps for the manthanites- at two of its centres in New Delhi to make them aware of the importance of general health and hygiene. General health check-up was done by Dr. Punia Ji at Dwarka Manthan-SVK, Dwarka (ND- 110075), centre on 28 October, 2018 of Manthan-SVK. General health camp included height and weight checkups. As problems like malnutrition have been the major concerns for the children for past few decades and it is present till now this check-up was beneficial to the extent that it helped children to know whether they belong to the fit category of children-which means whether they have the proper height and weight required at a particular age group. It is important for them to remain fit as per our medical advisor`s guide lines. Children were given appropriate advice according to their check-up reports. Those who were not up to the requirements were given expert doctor`s advice to cope up with their health issues. ENT check-up was also done by the experienced Dr.Punia Ji where children were made aware of the do’s and the dont’s of the eye and respiratory inspection. A separate dental camp was organized at Vikaspuri Manthan (Delhi-110018) centre, on 31 October, 2018 where children benefited from the expert dentist Dr. Anchita Mahajan Ji`s diagnosis and advice. Reports of these check-ups communicated their condition of fitness position. As we all know that health check-ups are very important for the children whom have all the time to grow as much as they can, there these camps proved to be a success. Where children grow both mentally and physically, they are also the people who are mostly prone to the diseases and several types of illnesses. Children were interested to know their health conditions as good health leads to a fresh and positive mind-set. Children were willing to know about their health and they reflected positively to the advices of experts. These health check-ups are very important as they tell the true report of one`s health. We thank both the doctors who came forward and served their expertise which was very beneficiary for the children of Manthan.
