In an endeavour to pave the path of real Bhakti Yoga to the seekers, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan under the divine mentorship of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji organized blissful 7-day spiritual event of Shrimad Bhagwat Katha at New Shakti Nagar, Bathinda, Punjab from 18th to 24th September 2022. Devotees in large number converged at katha venue on all 7 days, to drench themselves in the sublime love of Supreme Lord and to take inspirations from divine incarnation. Sadhvi Kalindi Bharti Ji, elaborated katha with many hidden valuable teachings and spiritual insights embedded in the holy scripture. The series of devotional bhajans filled the surroundings with beatific vibes and everyone’s heart overflowed with joy and devotion.
The magnificent saga about the Lord’s manifestation in human garb, creates a benign influence on the spiritual contour of human beings lasting over yugas. The prime objective of Lord’s descent on earth is for the ascent of man and to lead them towards their Self Realization journey. In the role of Satguru, they reveal the divine nature in human being and makes him rise above the material life of passion and egoism; and orient them towards excellence.
Sadhvi Ji explained in context of Lord Krishna, who played various roles in lives of his devotees and demonstrated unparalleled patience and perseverance for the sake of spiritual upliftment of every single devotee. Various divine acts of Lord teach us the cruciality of penance and patience to purify self by burning in the fire of knowledge. A transformed, purified soul alone can bring about revolutionary transformations in the world. Before the great battle of Mahabharata, to establish dharma and to render justice to Pandavas, there was a period of penance and testing that Pandavas had to go through. At the onset, one may view it as retribution for some sort of sins, however it was rather an opportunity given by Lord to Pandavas to transform themselves into the paragons of righteousness, sacrifice, courage. Lord beholds his disciple at every step on this path of Truth.
Hence, Sadhvi ji urged everyone that now is that opportune time for us to realize our true self and walk that path of transformation under the guidance and commandment of a Perfect Master, in order to be an instrument in hands of divine Lord for the establishment of peace and dharma.
Except by devotion that is acquired through the association of Guru, with single pointed dedication through selfless service and Meditation, there is no other way to eternal peace and happiness. The event was a grand success with many applauding the vision, mission and work of DJJS, also pledging to adopt the true spiritual path.
