Against the growing problem of Drug or Substance Abuse and high rising figures of addictions every day in the nation, Global Fund regional grant, India HIV/AIDS Alliance along with other key stakeholders including UNOICT , WHO, UNAIDS , Ministry of Health, Govt. Delhi, NACO, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and URI organized a full-day summit on 10th Oct. 2018, where DJJS’ representatives were invited as key panelists for sharing their thoughts on “From Dialogue to Action: The Interfaith Approach”.

DJJS at ‘HARM REDUCTION ADVOCACY IN ASIA’ Summit

The Summit was organized at United Nations, 55 Lodi Estate, New Delhi on the eve of World Mental Health Day 2018. The effort was to seek consultation with Faith Based Organizations for Developing Comprehensive Health and Rights Based Response to Drug Use.

Sadhvi Tapeshwari Bharti Ji and Sadhvi Dr. Nidhi Bharti Ji represented Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) in National-level summit and presented the concept note and staggering statistics of actual ground work of BODH—Drug Abuse Eradication Program of DJJS, which was overwhelmingly acclaimed by present dignitaries.
