Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) is a socio-spiritual organization involved in various social activities which impacts the human kind worldwide. Kamdhenu is one such program from DJJS which is centered on Indian Cow Breed Improvement & Conservation. For many years, DJJS has been at the forefront of creating awareness, disseminating the information, conducting research and development regarding the importance of Indian breed of cows all over India. They are working towards conservation and propagation of their right usage.

With the same vision, a delegation comprising representatives from Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan along with Dr. Vallabhbhai Kathuria (Chairman Gau Seva Ayog & Gauchar Vikas Board, Govt. of Gujarat), former Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare, HRD, Heavy Industry & PE (Govt. Of India), Scientists, Politicians, Cattle rearers, Breeders, Farmers etc. met Sh. Parkash Singh Badal (Chief Minister, Punjab), Sh. Manohar Lal Khattar (Chief Minister, Haryana), Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki (Governor Of Punjab & Haryana) , S. Charanjit Singh Atwal (Speaker of Punjab Vidan Sabha), S. Sikandar Singh Malooka (Minister, Rural Development & Panchayats, Punjab), Bibi Jagir Kaur (Ex. Cabinet Minister, Punjab), Captain Abhimanyu (Cabinet Minister, Haryana), Sh. Om Prakash Dhankar (Cabinet Minister, Haryana), S. Gurpartap Singh Wadala (MLA, Nakodar, Punjab).

The agenda was to discuss 'How to increase the count of Indigenous cow breeds (Sahiwal & Haryana) in Punjab & Haryana and to increase milk production capacity in the states.' DJJS has been putting up exhibition, conducting one- ones to create awareness among people. In the past, there have been visits by scientists, meeting with researchers, scientific analysis of Indian cow breeds vis-à-vis others. A necessary impetus is required from Govt.’s side to scale it up. All prominent leaders and politicians have appreciated the extensive efforts made by the organization in this regard and promised to extend all possible help.
