DJJS representative blissfully apprised the attendees that according to Indian calculations and as per universal mythology, ‘Brahma Ji’ started the creation of the cosmos on this day, therefore it was accepted as the first day of New Year. Following this, ‘Maharaja Vikramaditya’ started a calendar 2076 years ago so that the upcoming generations get familiar with our Indian calendar system. ‘Vikram Samvat’ holds a unique spiritual significance as it not only marks the beginning of the ‘Indian new year’ but is also celebrated as an auspicious time for fresh beginnings and divine growth.  It is also seen as an opportunity for self-reflection, and renewal of spiritual goals.

DJJS representative ardently highlighted that celebrating the New Year according to our ‘Vikram Samvat’ is not founded on certain estimates or forecasts but is based on the tenets of spirituality and logical science Therefore, in order to invoke blessings of the universe and in order to make our new year meaningful we should engage in evolving our inner selves through Meditation (Sadhna) and self-less service(Sewa) that helps foster a deeper connection with inner consciousness and devotion towards the perfect master.

Extending the divine wishes to everyone, DJJS representative concluded that it’s the responsibility of the enlightened devotees to spread the true essence and vibrancy of adopting ‘Vikram Samvat’ as New Year to the external world.  As ardent devotees of the spiritual path, this day reminds us to nourish our spirits and offer complete surrender at the lotus feet of the Perfect Master through prayerful vibes and profound meditation based on the absolute science of 'Brahm Gyan’.

Verily, the ‘Indian New Year’ celebration served as a platform for spiritual enlightenment and community bonding, fostering a sense of unity and harmony among all the attendees. In the end, the devotees immersed themselves in moments of mediation, connecting with their inner selves and experiencing a profound sense of serenity and clarity.
