'Environmental Responsibility' Walk through Exhibition organised by MEMR Ludhiana Nature Conservators at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir School

Ludhiana. Future citizens of the country aspiring to scale new heights in the field of medicine, engineering, business, economics, art etc. were steered on the path of environment responsibility by MEMR Ludhiana Nature Conservators on Monday, 1 Feb 2016. Furthering the objectives of DJJS Sanrakshan led My Earth My Responsibility Campaign, MEMR Ludhiana Nature Conservators organised an interactive Walk through Exhibition on the theme ‘Environmental Responsibility’ at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir School, New Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana.

“Doctors, engineers, businessmen, managers… Yes!  We need them to pave the path of development but to ensure life on earth we need environmentally responsible doctors, engineers, businessmen, managers and artists. We are here to give them this ‘environmentally responsible’ qualification” informed one of the MEMR Nature conservators.

As batches of students marched in with their teachers in the exhibition area, MEMR Nature conservators addressed them on the agenda of environment and then them on an ‘environmental responsibility’ walk.  Those who came with a blank faces, now had several questions to pose and concerns to raise, in the post walk question session.

Motivated by the interaction, in the end, students unanimously vowed to shoulder their responsibility towards mother earth at school, at home and any and everywhere throughout their life.

Mr. Madan Mohan Vyas, President of the School Committee highly appreciated the initiative and was left in awe of the dedication and selflessness of the MEMR Nature Conservators.
