With the intent to instil the ideals of truth and righteousness in kids, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan organized an exhilarating ‘Winter Camp’ for the kids at Jodhpur, Rajasthan from Dec. 27th 2019 to Jan. 3rd 2020. The event was held under the aegis of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, head and founder of DJJS. Children today are the most bewildered of all the generations as they look for shortcuts and instant gratification of their desires which many a times misleads young minds to become perturbed. The contemporary age of unprecedented access to gizmos and gadgets has augmented a myriad of vital life issues for the kids mainly related to emotional health, examination anxiety, peer pressure, expectations of family, depression and stress complications etc.
In these eight days, DJJS volunteer’s team led by Sadhvi Usha Bharti Ji & Sadhvi Sidhyoga Bharti Ji conducted an array of indoor and outdoor activities for the kids challenging their creative and cognitive side. The content of the winter camp designed specially by the DJJS representatives aimed at not only the physical development but also the moral, cognitive and psycho-spiritual development of the kids. As a healthy mind resides in a healthy body, the kids were taught various physical exercises including Yoga and Pranayama. The ethos of Moral and Spiritual Conduct were elucidated by the DJJS representative as she explained the spiritual science behind yoga and taught few yogic postures to the kids. The kids were actively involved in multitude of intriguing activities ranging from music, dance and dramatics to Vedic Mantra chanting and spiritual deliberations to name a few. The kids were also motivated using inspirational videos.
The kids enthusiastically participated in specially designed cognitive exercises and group mediation sessions and they were acquainted with the therapeutic and spiritual benefits of Meditation. The winter camp also included sessions on Sanskrit and Vedic Science primarily to connect the kids to their spiritual and cultural roots. Sadhvi Ji advised the kids not to fall prey to the gadgets and gizmos culture and carve their own niche in society by following the higher standards of Moral and Spiritual Conduct.
Sadhvi Ji concluded that for modern day kids to combat all the negativity and chaos affecting them in various spheres of their lives; there is an imperative need of a meticulous life coach or Eternal Master. His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji is truly a divine scientist who endeavours to bring about the inner revolution in kids at the conscious level through the instrument of Brahm Gyan (Eternal Science). When kids are heedful they chart out their own journey to success, rejoice their inner-selves and learn to overcome their external and internal conflicts thereby emerging as champions at all the stages in life. ‘Brahm Gyan’ Meditation empowers kids to subdue their confusions, doubts, addictions and attain a state of perfect bliss. It is the perfect medium to understand and imbibe the elevated principles of Moral and Spiritual Conduct.
The winter camp was indeed a great success as it successfully awakened the cognitive, mental and spiritual quotient of the kids. At the last day of the camp the kids felt rejuvenated, infused with positive energy symbolising a purified body, mind and intellect.
