An animal which has a power of benediction, feeling of affection, who takes birth on the Earth only to give her unconditional love to the mankind without expecting and asking anything in return, would you still call such a creature as an ANIMAL? Cow has always been considered as a great mother on the land of spirituality- India. From our ancestors, we have heard various benefits of having cow. A home without a cow is like a home without dear ones. Our Vedic scriptures have proudly claimed the infinite reasons to worship them (cows) like a goddess. Cows are the only creature on Earth, who possesses the ability to soak poison in their neck without affecting the purity and the quality of milk and other products. Indeed they should be worshipped.

Gau Katha Invigorated the Dual Benefits of Mother Cow and Ancient Culture at Phillaur, Punjab

The Gau Katha successfully served its supreme purpose in making audience realize their duty towards Goddess cow, by explaining the importance and benefits this world can derive from the cows. The spiritual orator of the program- Sadhvi Garima Bharti Ji beautifully depicted the divine connection between cows and the spirituality.  She quoted various meaningful examples of benefits from the cows and how our Lord Krishna lovingly took care of them. Such a silent mother still struggling in our so called developed and progressing world! Dalai Lama has beautifully quoted:

“Life is as dear to a mute creature as it is to man. Just as one wants happiness and fears pain, just as one wants to live and not die, so do other creatures.”

The program successfully re-establish the dead culture by creating huge awareness regarding the protection of both- our benevolent mothers in the form of cows and our ancient spiritually rich culture.
