One right thought and the life is made. One wrong thought and the life is destroyed for the thoughts translate into actions. To strike the right balance between the mind and physical being, a special event, ‘Gurbani Vichar’, was conducted in DJJS center located at Manawala, Amritsar, Punjab on December 24 and 25, 2016.
Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) is a socio-spiritual organization working tirelessly for the uplift of human beings under the aegis of its mentor Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. The event had the beautiful recitations of ‘Gurbani Shabad’ and its description, by Brother Mangal Singh Ji, Brother Baldev Singh Ji and Brother Gurpreet Singh Ji, disciple of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. Their eloquent description and mesmerizing rendition of ‘Shabad’ touched the very core of the heart of all attendees. The importance Guru holds in an individual’s life was all echoed during the entire event.
Brother Mangal Singh Ji while describing the meaning of verses of Gurbani said that Human life can be equalized with machines now which work from dawn to dusk but without any feeling or emotions. That’s the reason sensitivity, brotherhood and forgiveness has given way to money mindedness, drugs, crime against women and murder. To transform the society, we have to start from the lowest unit that is a human being. Just the way we get light by sitting next to an earthen pot which is set alight similarly a perfect master (Guru) enlightens the entire life. Satguru enlightens the Divine light in the hearts and when one meditates regularly, thoughts transform. One becomes very peaceful and contended.
The message was loud and clear: Gurbani is a sacred literature containing the words of wisdom or words of conscious mind which can be understood and realized only by the grace of Perfect Spiritual Master of the time.
So Work joyfully and peacefully, knowing that right thoughts and right efforts inevitably bring about right results.
