A five-day long Shri Ram Katha program was conducted in Sheela Resort, Talab Tillo, Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir by the grace of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, Founder and Head of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) from 16th to 20th Nov 2022. Sadhvi Shachi Bharti Ji, disciple of Shri Maharaj Ji, was the katha orator and inspired the audience with her eloquence and deep knowledge. Sadhvi Ji narrated the life story of Lord Ram which was full of challenges and emphasized how Lord Ram faced each trial of His life with uprightness and valour. This is the reason why Shri Ram Katha is relevant among masses even after thousands of years. She explained that Lord Ram’s life stressed upon following one’s resolution selflessly rather than attaching importance to materialistic luxuries.
Shri Ram fought with the demons Ravan, Meghnad, Kumbhkaran, Tadka, etc, and defeated all of them and thus establishing peace in the world. By doing this He helped the sages by making their ashrams conducive to meditation. Lord Ram renounced the kingdom of Lanka even if he had won it by virtue of his own determination. Thereby, setting an example of sacrifice and forbearance for the devotees in generations to come. Sadhvi Ji further said that Lord Ram had imparted Divine Knowledge, Brahm Gyan, to His devotees and made them realize their goals in life. He had instilled faith and devotion among the masses so that they can lead meaningful life and relinquish their vices of greed and selfishness. Sadhvi ji said that just like Lord Ram, today, Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji has been bestowing Brahm Gyan to thousands of His disciples across the world. After being initiated into Brahm Gyan and practicing meditation, they are working selflessly for society.
Shri Ram Katha event was dedicated to the social initiative, Antardrishti, a project for the welfare and upliftment of differently abled individuals and helping them to become financially independent. Through Antardrishti initiative, participants are trained in various sustainable projects which support them to lead a life of self-respect and dignity. All the participants of this Ram Katha, including the orator and the musicians who were on stage, were visually impaired but their souls were spiritually awakened and their efforts to bring this mesmerizing Katha was received with deep gratitude by the audience. Sadhvi Shachi Bharti Ji shared her personal experience with Divine Knowledge and said that her life has taken a complete U-turn after being initiated in Brahm Gyan. She felt absolutely protected and loved by Guru Maharaj Ji, though, at the physical level she is devoid of eyesight.
The devotees attending the Katha praised the organizers and volunteers of DJJS. They expressed their deep interest in this divine path of Brahm Gyan.
