Making the 'world without drugs'

Lay a strong foundation for children to have a bright future and the foundation should be strong enough with a great distance from all evil habits.

With such good thoughts in their hearts, with an intension to aware the new generation about the evilness of DRUGS, dreaming of "The World Without Drugs", the team of volunteers under Bodh, Drug Abuse Eradication Program of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan founded and mentored by His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj ji also reached the premises of Govt. Boys Senior Secondary School located at Rani Garden in East Delhi. This workshop was attended by 400 beneficiaries.

The volunteers presented an awareness based skit that realistically portrayed the characters to display how and what one goes through when one is entangled into any sort of addiction. It also showcased how negative consequences of substance consumption are unavoidable and incurable.

Through an educative lecture and Quizzes, reasons because of which students start experimenting with drugs and end up getting addicted to them were also discussed.  Students were therefore warned not to chase after any such incentive blindly and were also suggested with those several measures in dealing with the most common reasons of diversion and entrapment such as “Peer Pressure” and “Curiosity”.

This workshop “Say No” was motivated with the thought “WE ARE PREVENTING EVEN THE FIRST USE OF DRUGS AMONGST THE YOUTH!”. In the completion ceremony of the workshop, the School Principal R.S.Anand thanked and again welcomed Bodh volunteers to conduct such programs timely in the school. He also appreciated the efforts, selfless and non-profit services of the entire team.
