Marking the “World No Tobacco day”, Faridabad centre of Manthan Sampoorna Vikas Kendra, celebrated an awakening and message provoking program “Tamso Ma Jyotirgamaya” on 28th May, 2017. With the immense grace of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, the event was decorated with numerous reasons of celebration, the most important one being the award distribution to the meritorious students of Manthan Faridabad center.

Manthan Celebrates “Tamso Ma Jyotirgamaya”

Manthanites portrayed their proficiency in dramatics through an inspiration skit titled Tamso ma jyotirgamay’ portraying the message of not doing drugs. The young talented performers stunned the audience with their dance, singing, Vedic chanting and various other cultural presentations with full confidence and zeal. The event was followed by a Sponsor Meet wherein the Manthan kids thanked their sponsors and guests with handmade flower pots.

Beside all the performances and award winning children on the stage, an exhibition portraying the creativity and artistic skills of the Manthanites was also put up at the exhibition area along with a ‘Manthan Kasksha’ Photo Booth wherein the Sponsors could get themselves clicked with their sponsored children.

Manthan Celebrates “Tamso Ma Jyotirgamaya”

It was our extreme honor to have with us, Ms. Seema Tirkha, CPS, Haryana Govt., Mr. Nagendra Bhadana, MLA, NIT Faridabad, Mr. Dhanesh Adlakha, Chairman, Haryana Govt., Ms. Suman Bala, Mayor, district-Faridabad. The guests and audience were mesmerized to witness the performances of the children and applauded the hard and selfless work of Divya Jyotio Jagrati sansthan for transforming the lives of the deprived children.

The occasion was also graced by various social representatives, national players and the corporate staff of Larsen & Turbo. Words of inspiration and their experiences at Manthan surely motivated the gathering as well as the Manthanites. The event also welcomed many teachers and educationists from renowned schools too.

Manthan – Sampoorna Vikas Kendra is one of the social initiatives of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan which is providing Holistic Education to the Underprivileged children of remote rural and urban slums. Manthan SVK has provided benefit to more than 5000 poor children through its 18 Sampoorna Vikas kendras spread across four states of India, viz. Delhi, Haryana, Bihar and Punjab.
