"Health is wealth" is a common phrase heard everywhere, but it is one thing to keep after general health and hygiene and another to take precautionary steps against serious diseases.
Manthan SVK focuses on overall development of its students and that includes safety against diseases. On this note, Manthan centres at New Kitchlu Nagar, Gopal Nagar and Ashok Nagar of Ludhiana, Punjab, organised vaccinating camps for the students from 22 to 24 May 2018.
180 students were vaccinated for Measles Rubella and taught more about health care and disease prevention by the doctors and volunteers. Preacher representatives spoke in length about Manthan SVK’s focus on holistic development and how good health can do wonders for an individual. They also motivated the parents to make sure that their children receive timely vaccinations.
The days were informative and fruitful, a step forward towards Manthan SVK’s goal of holistic development.
