Bihar has the lowest percentage of literate population and major factors of this condition prevailing in this state of India, are ignorance among the masses about the importance of education, economic disparities, illiteracy, migration and poverty.

Manthan SVK Annual Assessment across Centres in Bihar, India

Manthan Sampoorna Vikas Kendra, under the guidance of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji and with the motto of Sakshar Bharat Sashakt Bharat, has set up and successfully run 4 centres in in the most remote and flood affected area of Bihar since the last several years. The centers are located in Village Padampur, district Saharsa, Village Parsauni, district Supaul, Village Dhanauja, district Saharsa and Village Bakrour, Bodh Gaya, district Gaya. As a part of our Annual Assessments of the centres, Sadhvi Deepa Bharti, Manthan SVK Program Coordinator, in a 10 day tour from 1st May to 10th May 2017 visited the centers to review the academic growth of the children.

The need assessment of the centers was drawn out along with training the teachers on various child-centric aspects which was followed by briefing of Annual planner 2017-18.

Manthan SVK school bags, water bottles and stationery material were distributed among over 500 students of the centres across Bihar, which was well appreciated by the villagers, parents and community at large.

Manthan SVK, social initiative of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, under the mentorship of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, is providing holistic education to the underprivileged children with an aim to establish equality in education and bridge the existence gaps through its selfless efforts.
