Let new India arise out of peasant's cottage, grasping the plough, out of huts, cobbler and sweeper. This powerful statement was said by Swami Vivekananda Ji. According to the Father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi, Swadeshi is the only doctrine consistent with the law of humanity and love. To celebrate this spirit of Swadeshi, Swadeshi Jagaran Manch organized a Swadeshi Mela on 12th and 13th October 2019 at Trinagar, Delhi. The event was held from 5 pm to 10 pm. This event is organized to promote the products made in the country on a common level and to encourage our local artisans and local culture. As a part of Daan Utsav, students of Manthan-SVK from Rithala, Badli and Shakurpur centre also participated in this event. Manthan-SVK participates in such events so as to develop not only the educational part of the students but also their holistic and moral development.

All the organizers appreciated the efforts of the organization in instilling patriotism in children. Also, the students from Shakurpur and Badli SVKs participated in the drawing competition too. The drawings were also appreciated at all the levels in the event. One of the Manthan SVK students, Bunty Kumari from Shakurpur centre was awarded the second prize at the drawing competition.
