Manthan Sampoorna Vikas Kendra (SVK), a holistic education program of DJJS for the underprivileged children, working under the aegis of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, providing them integrated knowledge with the blend of moral values that helps them to grow and discover their latent potential. In an effort to honour the motto Sakshar Bharat Sashakt Bharat, Manthan SVK has setup and is successfully running multiple centres across various states in Bharat.
As part of the annual assessment of Manthan SVK centres, a two-day tour was organised on 16th and 17th of May, 2022 by Manthan team. Sadhvi Deepa Bharti Ji (Program coordinator, Manthan SVK) along with the team of volunteers, visited the centres located at Kitchlu Nagar, Gopal Nagar, Sekhewa and Ashok Nagar in Ludhiana, Punjab to review the academic growth of the children and meet with the teachers for further endeavors.
The students felicitated Manthan SVK team visiting from Delhi by warmly greeting with bouquets and welcome cards. Along with providing quality education, Manthan SVKs are also determined to create a recreational environment for students where they can develop holistically. Manthanites performed yoga, a magnificent dance presentation, poem recitation and singing as part of the program. This was followed by an academic review session of the students and their class teachers. Teachers at Manthan SVKs have been the driving force behind students’ excellence in academics, extra-curricular activities as well as in shaping their personality with high moral and ethical values. Bringing recognition to the efforts put in by the teachers, Manthan SVK students and parents provided their testimonials.
Although online learning had gradually been gaining traction over the past decade, the pandemic has brought about a massive shift to the process of imparting education in a very brief time period. A review on digital classrooms were discussed with the Manthan teachers so as to transition to a more tech-friendly academic model. Sadhvi Deepa Bharti Ji the Program coordinator of Manthan SVK addressed the teachers at the respective centres. By emphasising, the importance of contributing towards a noble cause like educating the under-privileged children. Teachers were appreciated for accomplishing fruitful tracking records of the progress of students. Teachers were also elicited to provide their views, suggestions and feedback on critical areas that need improvements, along with discussing challenges and their solutions in continuation with making this educational model successful.
