As per the ancient Hindu mythology, Goddess Durga is considered as a divine force of the supreme cosmos and an epitome of benevolence and prosperity. Worshipping Ma Durga through Mata Ki Chowki is an attempt to seek her divine blessings and promotes inner peace and tranquility. To strengthen the relevance of our ancient legacy of devotional music, with the immense grace of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan organized a magnificent devotional program of Mata Ki Chowki at Batala, Punjab on October 5th 2019. Sadhvi Bhavarchana Bharti Ji sacredly aroused the innate divinity of the colossal gathering of spiritual aspirants attending the devotional concert.
Sadhvi Ji blissfully conveyed the metaphysical elucidations of Goddess Durga through devotional bhajans (songs) and theoretical renditions deep rooted in our primordial scriptures. The event started with the Ganesh Vandana, followed by several soulful bhajans dedicated to the Goddess. A group of disciple-musicians present on the stage regaled the spiritual gathering with their melodious tunes and devotional songs. Sadhvi Ji ardently decoded the spiritual relevance of the nine manifested forms of the Goddess Durga as they are worshipped mainly during the ‘Navratri’. She also cited the story of Goddess Durga and Mahishasura as an indicator of victory of former (good) over the latter (evil).
Sadhvi Ji remarked that the benefit or joy of singing bhajans or prayers offered for fulfilling one’s material desires is only short-lived but the everlasting spiritual benefits derived from singing and listening to the bhajans is commendable. Not only it promotes inner peace and serenity but also acts as a catalyst in curbing the negative vibrations through the vibrant tunes of the divine prayers. One can deeply connect to the Goddess Durga only through the supreme knowledge of inner world. Real worship and extreme devotion is an end product of practically worshipping Goddess Durga through the divine tool of Brahm Gyan. Self-realization awakens the inner divine link of a devotee and makes one experience the true name of God. Bhajans or prayers sung after acknowledging the real form of Ma Durga instills ecstasy, compassion and positive vibrations and opens the doorways for attaining salvation.
