Om!!
She Who Conquers Over All,
All-Auspicious, the remover of Darkness,
the Excellent One Beyond Time,
the bearer of the Skulls of Impure thought,
the reliever of difficulties, loving, forgiving,
supporter of the Universe,
accept the oblations of the devotee who is one with you,
accept the oblations of ancestral praise,
We bow to you.

Heading towards the goal of World Peace through the eternal science of self-realization – 'Brahm Gyan', under the Mentorship of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, Head & Founder – Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) UK recently organized Mata Ki Chowki in Hayes, London, United Kingdom on 24th September, 2017. The transcendental bhajans filled the atmosphere with mystical emotions.

The orator, Sadhvi Bhaktipriya Bharti Ji, disciple of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji beautifully described all the forms of Goddess Durga. She explained that “the Sanskrit meaning of Durga is ‘someone who is difficult to reach’; Goddess Durga incarnated in the form of Shakti, which means power and she is worshipped for her cordial as well as frightening aspects. As mother of this Universe, she displays infinite power and is worshipped as a symbol of female dynamism. The projection of the stronger and fiercer side of womanhood is but obvious in the tales surrounding goddess Durga. Goddess Durga was requested to appear for destroying the powers of the demon Mahishasur, who otherwise had become the most powerful being on the planet. Since he had got the blessings that no male God can destroy his powers; mother Durga had to appear on earth and destroy him. This is why she is considered as the manifestation of ‘Shakti’, which means ‘Power’.

She is a multi-dimensional Goddess, with many names, many personas, and many facets. Durga, through all her forms, encompasses the essence of salvation and sacrifice. She is the embodiment of purity, knowledge, truth and self-realization. The highest form of truth present in any being or Jiva is known as "Aatman" or supreme consciousness. This supreme consciousness or the absolute soul is infinite, birth- less, deathless, beyond time and space, and beyond the law of causation. Goddess Durga is the inherent dynamic energy through which this supreme consciousness manifests itself. Durga, the Mother Goddess is the symbol of all the auspicious and true qualities which define the Supreme Being. Of all her forms, Devi Durga is the ultimate representation of infinite power, purity and strength of purpose, which resides within the divine essence of every being.

Maa Durga exists eternally; she always abides in her own kind nature and stays in the hearts and minds of her blissful devotees. In the form of Shakti, she creates, nurtures and destroys physical forms, while as Kundalini, she enlightens the lotuses of seven centers of awareness in the human body. Goddess Durga killed the demon Mahisasura, thereby protecting mankind. When evil forces create imbalance, Gods unite together and become one divine force known as Durga ‘Shakti’.

Thousands of devotees reached at the event and gained the insightful thoughts. The program successfully served its purpose. Enlightening minds with insightful thoughts made the people realize the God’s power within and inspired them to live the spiritual journey in their life.
