Goddess Durga means "the inaccessible" or "the invincible", is the most powerful incarnation of Devi and one of the main forms of the Goddess Shakti in the Hindu pantheon. As Goddess Durga is seated on Lion, she is an epitome of power. She is the holy mother who destroys ego and jealousy from our hearts. Many people all over the world recognize this Shakti of Durga but unfortunately are limited to façade of her. The real Shakti of Durga is not in attire but lies within. The need of the hour is to recognize this Shakti within.
With an endeavour to conquer the negativity of this world and establish this inner strength, DJJS organized the splendid program of ’Mata Ki Chowki’ at Tarn Taran, Punjab on 3rd August, 2019 with the grace of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Founder and Convener of DJJS). The program commenced with the humble prayer at the lotus feet of Goddess Durga. Through melodious and thought provoking devotional bhajans, the preachers sang the glories of Maa Durga.
The Orator, Sadhvi Manglawati Bharti Ji (Preacher of DJJS) explained that the Brahman (the Almighty God) is one and Durga or Shakti is His power to create, Sustain and Destroy. She is the mother of bounty and wealth, as also of beauty and knowledge as well as an embodiment of purity, knowledge, truth and self-realization. Her slaying of the demon Mahishasur is symbolic of the victory of good over evil, of knowledge over ignorance and of righteousness over unrighteousness. Durga, also called Divine Mother, protects mankind from evil and misery by destroying malevolent forces such as selfishness, jealousy, prejudice, hatred, anger, and ego. But, no one can gain the traits without first experiencing the divinity of Goddess Durga.
The orator explained to the audience that each one of us also has Durga Maa inside our soul, the rage like her, the power like her but before realizing that power inside us, we also need to join our energy and capability so that we can fight better against all evils and demons like Mahishasur. The technique through which you can realize HER is called “Brahm Gyan” which can only be received by the grace of a Perfect Master. Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji is THE perfect master of the current era who is giving this valuable ‘Brahm Gyan (divine knowledge)’ without any differentiation of caste, creed, religion, social or economic status. Social challenges like women deprivation, drug abuse, female foeticide, crime and violation can only end with double edged sword of ‘Brahm Gyan’.
It’s high time to change the mind-set and get really connected with Maa Durga at the soul level. The program left an indelible mark with the divine interpretations of Maa Durga and everyone prayed together for World Peace.
