With an objective to revive the ancient Indian wisdom of self-discovery and spiritual awakening and to illuminate the life and teachings of Lord Buddha in achieving enlightenment, ‘Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan’ organized an enthralling theatrical play titled ‘महाबुद्ध अवतरण’ on 28th January 2025 at Mahakumbh, Prayagraj. The awe-inspiring 'Natyotsava - Theatrical Exclusive', a part of 'DIVYA JYOTI CHALCHITRAM Series 3', was set under the profound theme of ‘सनातन समाधि विज्ञान’ to decode the transformative journey of Lord Buddha from a prince to a spiritual leader. The divine narrative brought together spectators from diverse backgrounds, including saints, scholars, and common devotees and seekers from across the globe, uniting them in a shared experience of divine inspiration.
Highlighting the significance of ‘Samadhi’ as the ultimate gateway to spiritual realization, DJJS Representative, Sadhvi Deepa Bharti Ji gave a brief introduction about the spiritual play and mentioned that it was not merely a biographical depiction but a profound exploration of ‘सनातन समाधि विज्ञान’, an ancient spiritual science emphasizing meditation, inner discipline, and divine consciousness. The playbeautifully depicted the life and teachings of Lord Buddha, encapsulating his transformative journey from prince-hood to enlightenment. Through a seamless blend of theatrical expression, thought-provoking dialogues, and spiritually enriching sequences, the narrative unfolded the timeless principles of self-discovery, renunciation, and universal compassion. DJJS’s self-less volunteers masterfully showcased the struggles and realizations of Siddhartha Gautama, his ultimate departure from worldly attachments, his deep meditative pursuits, and the final moment of attaining enlightenment.
DJJS Representative, Sadhvi Tapeshwari Bharti Ji elaborated on the theme by drawing a profound connection between 'Samadhi Vigyan' and 'Brahm Gyan'. She explained how 'Brahm Gyan' serves as the foundation for true self-realization, allowing individuals to experience deep meditative states akin to those attained by enlightened beings like ‘Lord Buddha’. Through this spiritual science, one can transcend worldly illusions and connect with the eternal truth, thus reinforcing the message of the play.
Sadhvi Ji concluded that the character of Lord Buddha in the play emphasized the universal applicability of meditation as a means to transcend suffering and attain inner peace and wisdom. She urged the attendees to embrace the cosmic knowledge of ‘Brahm Gyan’ to uplift their spiritual aura. The play gained massive media attention and was well-appreciated by the attendees who were deeply moved by the philosophical depth and artistic excellence of the play.
