गुरौ न प्राप्यते यत्तन्नान्यत्रापि हि लभ्यते। गुरुप्रसादात सर्वं तु प्राप्नोत्येव न संशयः।।

Whatever knowledge and wisdom are not attained from Guru, cannot be found anywhere else. Without any doubt, with the blessings of the Guru, a person can achieve anything in this world.
The bond between a Disciple and his spiritual mentor is eternal and unspoken. It cannot be expressed in words. This pious relation hailed in the Guru-Shishya Parampara is celebrated every year magnanimously by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), pan-India. In the same vein, a grand event of “Shri Guru Purnima Mahotsav 2023” was organized at Nurmahal Ashram, Punjab on 3rd July, 2023 which witnessed the presence of Chief Guest, Hon’ble Defense Minister, Govt. of India Shri Rajnath Singh Ji; Guest of Honor, Shri Vijay Sampla, Hon’ble Chairman National Commission for Scheduled Castes Government of India and a number of esteemed guests and lacs of Devotees. On this special day, devotees offer their humble salutations in lotus feet of Satguru. This festival carries utmost importance in the life of a disciple. The program commenced with Mangal Aarti and Pujan of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Founder & Head, DJJS). The entire ambience was full of devotional vibes as everyone got drenched in the divine memories of Gurudev. The Preacher Disciples filled the atmosphere with the electrifying vibrations of dedication and emotions through their heartfelt devotional songs.

The Preacher Disciples of Gurudev beautifully explained the Guru-Shishya bond with many profound examples from scriptures. Guru elevates his disciple to his own level of realization. In this entire world there is no one more concerned about his disciple’s spiritual growth than the guru. His continuous endeavors are directed towards upliftment of his Disciple to such a level where he becomes one with the God. On the other hand, a true Disciple is also committed to his Guru and his mission. He surrenders himself completely in the feet of his Gurudev as he very well knows that whatever will be done by his Guru, will be for his own well-being. It is therefore often said that one who has got the shelter of spiritual mentor, nothing more remains to be achieved for him and the one who has achieved everything in the world but hasn’t achieved the divine grace of his guru, has actually achieved nothing. Adi Shankaracharya also said -
-Guru Ashtakam by Adi Shankaracharya
One may have wife, wealth, sons, grandsons, a great house, all relatives, and may have born in a good family. But if their mind is not centered upon the lotus-like feet of their Guru, what then? What then? What then?
The guru-disciple relationship is categorized highest in the world, for it is based on unconditional love and surrender. Millions and millions of devotees of Divya Gurudev Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji have experienced the same divine warmth by Him as they tread on this path of spirituality.
Sri Yukteswar Ji once said to his Disciple Paramhansa Yoganand: “I will be your friend from now till eternity, no matter whether you are on the lowest mental plane or on the highest plane of wisdom. I will be your friend even if you should err, for then you will need my friendship more than at any other time. Will you give me the same unconditional love?” Paramhansa Yoganand replied: “I will love you eternally, Gurudeva!” And these were not just words, he lived them his entire life. This is the level of true devotion.
But the pertinent question is, do we also carry the same level of emotion and devotion? The occasion of ‘Guru Puja’ forces us to peep inside our heart and check our Guru-bhakti level, thereby, bringing the necessary change before the time slips.
Many dignitaries graced the occasion with their presence including Shri Randeep Singh Surjewala (Member of Rajya Sabha and General Secretary and Incharge, All India Congress Committee, Department of Communications); Shri Dinesh Ji (Rashtriya Sanrakshak, VHP); Shri Pradeep Joshi (Akhil Bharti Sah-Sampark Pramukh, RSS); Shri Manthri Srinivasulu, Sangathan Mahamantri BJP, Punjab & Chandigarh); Shri Iqbal Singh (Prant Sanghchalak, Punjab); Shri Brahm Shankar Jimpa (Cabinet Minister, Government of Punjab); Dr. Baljit Kaur (Cabinet Minister, Government of Punjab); Shri Manish Tewari (MP), Shri Anandpur Sahib (Former Union Minister); Shri Sushil Kumar Rinku (MP Jalandhar); Maharani Preneet Kaur (MP Patiala); Shri Gurjeet Singh Aujla (MP Amritsar); Shri Ravneet Singh Bittu (MP Ludhiana); Prof. Dr. Sikandar Kumar (MP, Himachal Pradesh); Sardar Maninderjit Singh Bitta (President, All India Anti-Terrorist Front); Smt.
