Shri Hari Katha organized, by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) in Sirsa, Haryana commenced with commendable inauguration by Katha Orator Sadhvi Garima Bharti Ji, disciple preacher of H.H Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. Beautiful bhajans with background music added essence to the 5 day Katha, which was held from 08 Sept to 12 Sept, 2015.

Various engineers, doctors and politicians such as Mr. Sanjay Singla (Pradhan Hanumaan Mandir), Mr. Vinod Garge (Suraj Gum Industry), and Mr. Brahmanand Goyal (Pradhan Aggarwal Sabha) became part of the divine evening. Lamp lightening session and Aarti Vandana became the highlight of the evening that took place by the hands of the Chief Guests.

Hari Katha, otherwise called Katha Kalakshepa, is a form of Hindu religious discourse, also known as Katha (storytelling), in which the story teller explores a religious theme, usually the life of a saint or a story from an Indian epic.

Main aim of Hari Katha is to imbibe truth and righteousness in the minds of people and sow the seed of devotion in them. Also, one of the objectives is to educate everyone about knowledge of self (atman) through stories and show them the path of liberation.

We need to find a true spiritual master to open our divine eye by “Brahm Gyan” and by which  we can know thyself, change thyself and can make ourselves human in true sense.

In the event, thousands of people actively participated out of which many people were initiated with Brahm Gyan. Each day, the program ended with prasadam which was distributed to all. On the last day of Katha, “Hawan Yajna” was done by the preachers as well as by the people.
