Preacher Disciple of His Holiness, Sadhvi Deepika Bharti Ji flawlessly narrated the Katha at Chanchal Park, Janakpuri, New Delhi from 14th to 20th September 2019. The magnificent hidden meaning behind the numerous Shlokas and divine acts of Shri Ram was unfolded in these seven days.
She beautifully narrated the life story of Shri Ram which was given surreal texture by the accompanying DJJS’s trained musician disciples. The Katha garnered the attention of a huge number of people as Sadhvi Ji eloquently explained the reason of Shri Ram’s triumph over the demon Ravana. Sadhvi Ji put forward the question as to how could Shri Ram being a human kill the huge demon called Ravana.
Sadhvi Ji explained that the reason is not just the fact that Shri Ram was the human incarnation of Lord Vishnu but because even as a human he did not forget the essence of his true being. Shri Ram was able to be in constant connection with the universal consciousness. On the other hand, Ravana was not. The difference was the result of the presence of a true spiritual teacher (Guru) in the life of Shri Ram. Sage Vashisht was the enlightened spiritual teacher of Shri Ram who bestowed upon him a knowledge that empowers a human being through the awakening of the third eye or the inner eye. With the constant practice of this divine knowledge, Shri Ram was able to tap into the universal energy core and draw strength from it whereas Ravana caught up in his understanding of the mind and attachment to his self and could only access his limited energy pool. This led to the destruction of Ravana at the hands of Shri Ram.
Shri Ram performed wise deeds only because he had a true Guru and diving knowledge in his life. Today, we all can achieve the same inner wisdom that will help us kill the demons lurking within each of us such as greed, lust, hatred, etc. But for this to happen, we have to begin our spiritual journey with the blessings of a true Guru who has not only accomplished the summit of spirituality but can also guide us on our way to the same.
