Over the past hundreds of years this cosmos has been sanctified by deities who have brought back mankind from the burial chambers that we have created for ourselves. The wrong attributes like hypocrisy, broken pledges, dishonored contracts and murdered morality overpower the ideal and the truthful life that should be lead. Fraudulent activities flourish in all the four quarters of the globe. The principles of justice and idealism that were practiced earlier during the times of Shri Ram have completely vanished. In order to re-establish the long lost Ram Rajya that once prevailed, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) under the guidance of H.H Ashutosh Maharaj Ji is diligently working towards reinstating the principles of justice, equality, truth and sacrifice. Ram Rajya is not a myth or an imagination. It is a historic fact of the ancient era and remains relevant in upcoming eras also. Ram Rajya is based on truth and Dharma is its foundation.
In order to instill the life redeeming lessons from the life of Shri Ram, DJJS organized a 8 day soulful event of Shri Ram Katha in Jalandhar Cantt, Jalandhar, Punjab commencing from 30th Sep-07th Oct 2019. It began by offering prayers at the lotus feet of Lord Rama followed by several mystical hymns sung by the disciples of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. The orator of the event, Sadhvi Garima Bharti Ji quoted various examples from the lifetime of Shri Ram, one being of Mata Shabri who was a tribal woman and was once informed by her master Sage that she shall be blessed by the presence of Lord Ram who was the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Devotedly waiting for the Lord, she patiently cleaned the forest passage and gathered the wild berry fruit for the ultimate master for several years. Being a true devotee, she dedicatedly followed her master’s instructions till the last and henceforth was rewarded by Lord Ram’s blessings who granted her liberation. Similarly we should never doubt our Guru’s commands and should seize every opportunity as our master always thinks about our betterment. Our small deeds of kindness shall definitely reap spiritual benefits in the future which we mortal beings are completely ignorant about.
As the event progressed, Sadhvi Ji unfolded yet another divine act from the life span of Shri Ram explaining the deeds of yet another significant character of ‘Vibishan’ from the Ramayana scriptures. He was the brother of Ravan who was a great scholar but was fenced by arrogance and egoism that prevented him to follow the true path of Dharma. However, Vibhishan did not let the surroundings affect him and in spite of all atrocities around, he chose the path of truth and justice along with Shri Ram. Similarly a true devotee should not be affected by the worldly mayhems and the wrong doings rather should be fearless and determined to follow the righteous path.
The glorious attempt made by the preachers of DJJS was a humongous success as the spectators of Punjab realized importance of respect and equality. They also realized that abiding their master’s instructions is the sole way to establish a prosperous Ram Rajya.
