Sweet melody of His flute calls each parched heart to shower in the benign grace and get rid of the aridity. His divine plays portray difficulties faced in the path to eternity as well as the solutions needed for the most difficult situations. These and numerous other elaborate descriptions were part of the discourse at Shrimad Bhagwad Katha held from 15th to 21st September 2017. Held in Sangaria, Rajasthan, the event was an eye-opener for many. Under the divine guidance of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Head and Founder of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, DJJS), the Katha was orated by Sadhvi Kalindi Bharti Ji, preacher disciple of Shri Maharaj Ji.

Living in the world full of dismay, an event like Katha brings a ray of hope. This is all what one seeks. Bhagwad Katha holds many treasures for all ages. Katha dispersed all of them to one and all present there. Gems of spirituality such as wisdom, strength, forgiveness, and prosperity all arise from within Bhagwad Katha. Those who were attuned to the oration felt immensely blessed to be a part of the congregation.

All parts of Lord Krishna’s incarnation in the dwapar yuga entail in-depth contemplation that is solely possible by first realizing the true form of the Lord. Those who enter the internal kingdom of spirituality attest that they feel the same love and joy from within that is described by the gops and gopis of that era. Time and time again, Lord Krishna indicates to dive deeper to realize the true form of God.

Sadhvi Ji proclaimed that Self-realization and God perception is possible through the eternal technique of ‘Brahm Gyan’. Sadhvi Ji indicated that using this technique Lord Krishna enabled the gopis to be lured into the melodies of His eternal flute playing within the internal chambers. Lord Krishna enabled the deserted Arjuna to perform the righteousness deeds and invited him to realize self amidst the battlefield. This can be used as metaphor to understand that amidst hustle and bustle of day to day life, it is possible to realize the self, provided we are hooked to the divine name.

Each day of the Katha was dedicated to a certain benign initiative being carried out by DJJS. Although many aspects of the organization were seen at the event, the emphasis was given to the various social projects transforming the society. For example, Sadhvi Ji mentioned the Antarkranti initiative, the social and welfare project that benefits the prison inmates of many jails throughout the country. Through this program, the once known criminals have now been transformed into parcels of change that bring transformation in lives of others. As Sadhvi Ji stared, these individuals are experiencing tremendous change in their lives due to the practice of Brahm Gyan. She further explained that if we believe in Lord Krishna’s teachings, let us implement them in today’s society and bring change in the deplorable condition of India and the world at large.
