To disseminate the pearls of righteous living and divine knowledge propounded by Lord Krishna, the SBS Nagar branch of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) orchestrated a spiritually transformative event, the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, at Rupnagar, Punjab, from 1st to 7th May 2024. This event was a beacon of divine wisdom, aiming to instil a deeper sense of devotion and moral values among the attendees.

The spiritual orator of the mega event, Sadhvi Kalindi Bharti Ji, a disciple of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Founder & Head, DJJS), illuminated the ancient wisdom of the ‘Shrimad Bhagwat Puran’ with profound insights and devotion. The spiritual discourses were interspersed with devotional songs presented by the DJJS volunteers. Local dignitaries and devotees of Roop Nagar graced the occasion with their presence during the seven-day spiritual event.
Sadhvi Ji discussed the purpose of human life, emphasizing the pursuit of divine love and self-realization. She elaborated on the divine significance of Ras Leela, showcasing the pinnacle of pure devotion (bhakti) through the love of the Gopis for Krishna. She emphasized the importance of living a life grounded on the principles of dharma (righteousness), karma (duty), and bhakti (devotion). She highlighted the relevance of Lord Krishna’s teachings in contemporary life, encouraging attendees to embrace these values for personal and societal well-being. The devotees were enthralled by the vivid descriptions of the divine deeds of Lord Krishna and their relevance in the real world.

DJJS representative concluded that the regular practice of ‘Brahm Gyan’ based meditation (Divine Knowledge) leads to profound personal transformation that acts as a catalyst for world peace and reformation.
The event concluded with a collective prayer for peace and harmony, followed by Aarti and Prasadam distribution. Shrimad Bhagwat Katha received an overwhelming response from the local community and attendees. The profound teachings and soulful renditions left a lasting impact on the hearts of the devotees. Many expressed a renewed sense of spiritual purpose and a deeper connection to their faith.
