Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan ("DJJS") successfully conducted a spiritually enriching 7 days Shrimad Bhagwat Katha at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, from 14th to 20th December 2025 with the divine blessings of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Founder & Head, DJJS), aimed at nurturing spiritual growth among attendees. The Katha, infused with profound wisdom from the Bhagavata Purana, served as a guiding light for devotees, illuminating the path of devotion and righteousness. The spiritually uplifting and melodious bhajans, rendered with deep passion, created a serene atmosphere that elevated the consciousness of all present. Thousands of devotees from both local and distant regions gathered at the venue to experience spiritual bliss.
The orator of the Katha, Sadhvi Aastha Bharti Ji, narrated the divine Katha with deep devotion and in a profoundly simple and touching style. She seamlessly interwove Sanskrit shlokas from the Puranas, eloquently explaining their profound meanings in a manner easily understood by the devotees. She elaborated on the life of Lord Krishna, highlighting His divine pastimes, miraculous deeds, profound wisdom, and unwavering commitment to righteousness. She explained how, during the great war of Mahabharata in Kurukshetra, Shri Krishna assumed the role of Arjuna’s charioteer and spiritual mentor, delivering the divine wisdom of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita. It was this very wisdom that dispelled Arjuna’s doubts and dilemmas, instilling in him clarity, courage, and steadfastness in fulfilling his duty on the path of dharma. She further emphasised that the teachings of the Gita are timeless and deeply relevant in today’s world, guiding individuals towards knowledge, inner peace, and self-realization.
