A seven-day Shrimad Bhagwat Katha program was organized at Kapurthala, Punjab by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan from 29th March to 04th April, 2025. Sadhvi Kalindi Bharti Ji, a disciple of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Founder and Head, DJJS) and the narrator of the Katha, enlightened the devotees with divine discourse. The Katha started with mesmerizing devotional songs and mantra chanting. This led the audience to elevate their minds from the mundane daily tasks and concentrate on the divine. Purity of mind is the gateway to spiritual consciousness and inner awakening.
During her discourses, Sadhvi Kalindi Bharti Ji emphasized the importance of the teachings of the Bhagwat Mahapuran in a lucid way and how they guide to live a purposeful life. She quoted the words of Gurudev Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji and said that real spirituality means living a life of selfless service- meaning, the dedication to give without any expectation, offering one’s time, energy and resources for the well-being of others. She explained that Lord Krishna’s wisdom is meant to inspire us in our daily lives and help us stay steadfast on the path of divine duty (Dharma).
One of the central themes of the Katha is the unwavering pursuit of dharma, even in the face of immense challenges. During the Mahabharat war, Lord Krishna said to Arjun that there could be nothing more inauspicious in the war, than the defeat of Dharma itself. Hence, he should not mourn the deaths of even his loved ones if it begets victory of Dharma.
Sadhvi Ji said that the eternal science of Divine Knowledge is the one that leads to Dharma, spiritual enlightenment, and liberation as explained in Shrimad Bhagwat Katha. Today, the same Divine Knowledge that was bestowed to Arjun by Lord Krishna can be attained by the grace of perfect master Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. Divine Knowledge or Brahm Gyan is the experience of divinity through which one can connect with the divine. This ultimately leads to decisiveness in every action. Presently, there are millions of people who have been initiated by Maharaj Ji and they have found peace and happiness in their lives.
In essence, the Katha imparted invaluable wisdom to the devotees, offering profound insights for those in search of spiritual enlightenment. It proved to be a medium to deepen their understanding of spirituality and apply its teachings to their own lives. It was greatly appreciated by all present and inspired all to walk steadily in the path of Dhyan and Sewa.
The program was graced by the presence of several distinguished guests. They could feel the spiritual impact and magnanimity of the program and highly praised it. Additionally, they requested the DJJS representatives to organize such programs in the future as well.
