Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), under the divine grace of its Founder and Head, Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, organized a seven-day Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, from 5th to 11th Dec 2025 at Sangrur, Punjab by Sunam Branch. The sacred gathering witnessed the presence of a large number of devotees who assembled with deep reverence to immerse in the divine glory of Shri Krishna and receive the blessings of eternal wisdom.

The Katha was eloquently narrated by Sadhvi Vaishnavi Bharti Ji, disciple of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, who unveiled the spiritual treasures enshrined in Shrimad Bhagwat mahapuran. She explained that this scripture is far beyond a narration of Shri Krishna’s pastimes; it is a profound spiritual beacon that awakens inner devotion and establishes a living connection between the soul and the Supreme. By absorbing its divine vibrations, seekers experience purification of the heart, elevation of the mind, and inspiration to walk steadfastly on the path of devotion.
Building upon this essence, she highlighted how the Mahabharat is not confined to the battlefield of Kurukshetra rather it continues within every human being even today. In a world overshadowed by crime, moral decline, and the influence of degrading content, the struggle between righteousness and unrighteousness intensifies. Within each of us, the soul embodies the Pandavas, while uncontrolled desires manifest as the Kauravas. This constant inner conflict can only be resolved through the guidance of Shri Krishna, the eternal dispeller of darkness who, through the science of Brahm Gyan, empowers the soul to strengthen its virtues and overcome vices.

She further explained that scriptures proclaim only a Perfect Spiritual Mentor of the time can bestow Brahm Gyan, the divine knowledge that enables seekers to meditate on the Supreme and realize the true purpose of life. In the present age, when humanity is losing its balance amidst materialism and restlessness, spiritual awakening becomes all the more urgent. Only this awakening can restore peace, harmony, and compassion, elevating mankind to truly embody the Lord’s vision of being “the crown of creation”.
In this light, the discourse clarified that Bhakti is not a pursuit reserved for old age but the very essence of human existence. It nurtures clarity, empathy, and equanimity, helping one balance worldly duties with spiritual growth. Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, as the Perfect Spiritual Mentor of our times, has illuminated countless lives by bestowing Brahm Gyan and leading seekers onto the transformative path of true devotion.
The week-long Katha concluded with a resounding call for spiritual awakening. Sadhvi Ji conveyed a message to embrace the higher purpose of life, tread steadfastly on the path of devotion, and ensure the triumph of dharma within themselves, thereby bringing Shri Krishna’s divine teachings to life.
