Salutations to Shri Krishna! He manifested Himself in a human garb only for the benefit of mankind to destroy wickedness and to establish righteousness. Each and every divine sport of His life is infused with sublimity and profound secrets. His underlying sports were relevant not only in that era but hold paramount significance in today's age as well.
Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (“DJJS”), under the divine guidance of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Head & Founder – DJJS) makes conscientious endeavours to convey this rich resource of knowledge of the ancient legacy to the masses and inculcate in them the inevitable divine endowments. The gospels of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji often depict Lord Krishna as a multi-dimensional personality.
Recently, DJJS organised 7 days Shrimad Bhagwat Katha from 23rd to 29th December, 2017 in Shahdara, Delhi which was dedicated to the “Manthan Project” of DJJS. The project particularly focuses on underprivileged and underperforming children some of whom are drop outs or even first generation learners. It works on building an overall character of a child through holistic education. It also focuses on empowering students through initiatives, like capacity building, health care, nutrition, field visits and establishing a connection with his divine existence that rests in spirituality.
Large number of Devotees gathered to attend this peaceful and spiritual discourse. Several dignitaries also marked their presence at this event. In addition to capturing the hearts of thousands of people who attended the seven day event, the Katha was broadcasted worldwide with coverage through Sanskar TV Channel. Newspapers and other media that did broad reporting of the proceedings of the Katha were: Dainik Jagran, Jagat Kranti, Veer Arjun, Dainik Khabre, Navbharat Times, Action India, Akshar Vishaw, Dastak News, Quami Patrika etc.
Sadhvi Aastha Bharti Ji, Katha orator beautifully narrated Heart and Mind Illuminating story of Lord Shri Krishna, bringing out the obscure truth behind the divine Play of Lord that is not possible to grasp by simple reading of This Pious Scripture. The dialogue between Sukhdev Sage and King Parikshit is considered to have spiritual significance. It is believed that the listener to this dialogue attains Moksha or liberation.
The aim of life is to inquire into the Truth, and not the desire of enjoyment in heaven. Those who possess the knowledge of the Truth, call the knowledge of non-duality as the Truth. The knowledge of divine or supreme is beyond duality, is great, and through such knowledge one attains the Infinite Bliss. It’s only after self-realization, when a perfect spiritual master dispels the darkness of ignorance with the cognizance of Divine Knowledge, that one can experience one’s true inner self. This Self is the centre of the whole creation. Series of devotional bhajans, mantras and discourses filled the atmosphere with magnificent spiritual energy and kept the audience fully connected. Devotional songs are known to calm the mind and attain peace within. This creates the atmosphere for the mind of the listener to become ready and receptive for the spiritual discourses that follow.
The audience was overwhelmed by the flow of the Katha and learnt the actual meaning behind the Leelas of Lord Krishna. The program served the purpose of transmitting the message of Self-realization.
