As God observes free will in creation and destruction of this Universe, in the same way God bestowed human beings with the boon of free will as well for their life. This free will, presents us with the choice to embark on the journey towards either Super Consciousness or Lower consciousness; towards God or Demon; towards Awakened state of life or illusions of life. An individual takes several life forms before getting a chance to take birth as a human being, but end up spending the precious time in accumulating possession of material riches.

Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Elucidates the Rightful Goal of Human Life to the Devotees of Ludhiana, Punjab

In order to illuminate devotees on the true purpose of life and how to identify and attain that goal, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan under the guidance of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji organised a sumptuous 7 day Bhagwat Katha Program starting from 21st Aug to 27th Aug, 2017 at Ludhiana, Punjab. The event was inaugurated with holy prayer at the lotus feet of Lord Krishna. The learned orator of the Katha, Sadhvi Kalindi Bharti Ji, disciple of Shri Maharaj Ji, flawlessly sparkled the wise gems of mystery behind various acts of Lord Krishna from the divine saga.

Sadhvi Ji narrated, this free will choice was offered by Lord Krishna to Arjuna and Duuryodhana before the battle of Mahabharata to select between the Lord’s Maya (Lord’s Army) or the Lord himself. Arjuna with reverence chose Lord, while Duryodhana was perplexed and thought Arjuna to be a foolish person since he selected only Lord Krishna, who decided not to hold a weapon in war instead of his mighty army. In today’s context also, we make such mistakes of choosing temporary worldly pleasures over the ultimate goal of liberation of soul. We choose name and fame over the love of God.

Lord Krishna was the “Perfect Master” instrumental in awakening Arjuna and innumerable beings with sacred knowledge. The need for us is to search the Krishna or “Satguru” today who can take us on spiritual path of Uniting with Divinity, rather than drift us towards the Duality. Sadhvi Ji exhorted everyone to resolve to seek God from the Guru and not the fleeting digression of opulences. This does not necessarily means to reject life by walking into the forest to practice spirituality. When a disciple walks on the path guided by “Satguru”, the soul is empowered to take conscious control over the course of life, free of tribulations and impediments of normal life. In this way life can be lived while engaging in personal and professional activities, making every event an opportunity for spiritual development, which brings state of eternal Happiness.
