Teachers’ Day is celebrated every year on 5th of September to honor and acknowledge the contribution made by countless numbers of teachers in helping and molding the careers of lakhs of students and in turn shaping the destiny of India. And when it comes to the teachers working selflessly for a cause like Manthan SVK, appreciation and honor goes multifold.
Manthan SVK celebrated Teacher’s day on 5th September, 2016, with lots of joy, happiness and enthusiasm to give heartily tribute for their hard efforts of making our and nation’s future. The day was celebrated at Karkardooma branch of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, New Delhi.
The day was started with felicitation of teachers with welcome cards made by their students, a warm welcome with tilak and a proud Manthan SVK badge was put on. Thereafter, a magnificent dance presentation on Ganesh vandana and an enlightening skit highlighting the importance of teacher’s role in one’s life was given by the volunteers of DJJS. Teachers were awarded and honored by scholar bands citing the quality of the teacher, appreciation certificate and a token of gift. Inspirational videos were shown on the day along with getting teachers engaged in fun filled and educational activities like Toy-Teach-Intro, Boojho to Jaane, Letter to self-etc. Altogether, teachers felt mesmerized and spellbound by the surprise they received on this important day and were filled with much more dedication, motivation and inspiration towards the very significant work they do of making the future of our nation and that too serving in the underprivileged sections of our society.
As is a saying, our parents are responsible for giving us love and quality care however our teachers are responsible for making whole future bright and successful. They let us know the importance of education in our life through their continuous efforts. They are the source of inspiration to us which help us to go ahead and get success. They make us so strong and prepare to withstand any obstacle of the life. They become full of immense knowledge and wisdom using which they nourish our lives.
