“Every single time someone helps somebody stand up, this helps humanity rise”. Antarkranti, an initiative of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, has sprouted humanity to the utmost by helping the inmates to stand up and begin a fresh chapter of their life. Swami Dheeranand Ji, Swami Margdeepanand Ji and Swami Haricharnanand Ji conducted 3 Days Session enriched with the human values & spiritual flavour, at the District Jail Sonipat, Haryana from 4th to 6th Feb’15.
During the session, a surge in the participation of the inmates, with 230, 450 and 520 attendance on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd day respectively was well witnessed. The sessions focused on motivating the inmates to know the ultimate meaning of their life and show them the right direction to move on to reach the destination. The preachers exquisitely elucidated that “Don’t confuse your path with your destination, just because it’s stormy now doesn’t mean you aren’t headed for sunshine”.
The issue of emergence of drug dependence and the way it has imprisoned the life of the prisoners was also taken up. The session made the inmates contemplate, and inquisitive enough to know the way they could get rid of all the negativities and move ahead by giving themselves another chance.
The three day spiritual discourse and counselling session was concluded by the speech of Shri Jai Kishan Chillar, Jail Superintendent. He acknowledged the work and selfless efforts of the entire team, Antarkranti and Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan for the service. He expressed his views by saying that he hope and expects from all that at least everyone would try something from whatsoever they grasped today and get initiated with the spiritual knowledge.
