To let people imbibe Supreme divinity within, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), a socio-spiritual and non-profit organization, headed and founded by His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji organized Shri Ram Katha, from 29th March to 2nd April’ 22, at Rajouri, Jammu & Kashmir. DJJS representative and preacher disciple of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, Sadhvi Soumya Bharti Ji, lucidly elucidated the inspiring life journey of Lord Ram, the Maryada Purushottam. In addition, she cited the tenets of self-growth, management, social reformation, and devotional lessons from his life.
In this age of materialism, we often fail to choose the correct path of life. Moreover, we fail to fathom the real reason to be born as humans (the supreme creation of the Almighty). In such a scenario, an event like Shri Ram Katha works as a lighted lamp to enlighten the masses about the real purpose of life i.e bhakti. It created awareness among the people that ‘Global Peace’ can be achieved only when every human being attains inner peace. And it can be achieved by the complete transformation of the mindsets of people by connecting with the ‘Supreme Divine Force’ within.
The Katha began with a prayer and by paying homage at the holy feet of Lord Ram followed by melodious chants and hymns. The mantras created an atmosphere of divinity strengthening the bond and deep love between humans and the Supreme. Katha Orator further interpreted and explained the Divine acts of Lord Ram that are very much pragmatic and relevant in today’s times too. Lord Ram’s advent on Planet Earth aimed at the re-establishment of Truth. He is the ultimate personification of idealism. Even after thousands of years, his life serves as a guide, as to how to lead a perfect life. His life and his rule in the form of Ram Rajya are what we aspire to, even today. He established equality, peace, serenity, and truthfulness during his reign, though He himself witnessed many sacrifices in his life time and again.
Sadhvi Ji further quoted a no. of divine incidents from The Ramayana, that helped the congregation to connect with the incidents in the Golden Era of ‘Ram Rajya’. The captivating discourse was accompanied by melodious and soulful bhajans which left the audience spellbound. She too shed light on the importance of a Perfect Spiritual Master who could enlighten us with Divine Knowledge that would help us to break the cycle of birth and death and achieve salvation. The audience was mesmerized and awed by the deep spiritual revelations. The devotees took a pledge to contribute towards a healthy society which involves not only changing the outside world but includes a healthy body, mind, and soul too.
